## Using the API
In the absence of a 3rd-party client, the available **Postman Collection** provides an easier way to access the API's functionality.
The API can connect to either a **KNX IP Tunnel** and a real installation or use a simulator.
It is recommended to try out the Postman collection first, using the simulator and the provided semantic export.
